Celebrating Connecticut Forests and Parkss
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Earth Day each year than by recognizing the important work and special programs provided by our friends at CFPA, a private, non-profit organization that is the leading force behind the conservation and maintenance of Connecticut’s state parks and forests.Thanks to the dedicated work of their staff and volunteers, we here in Connecticut have access to the 825-mile Blue-Blazed Hiking Trail System, free Family Rambles, Walk & Talks, Science Sunday events, the nation’s largest Trails Day event, and so much more. We encourage you to learn more about the forested land in our state and the various ways you can get outdoors and enjoy it. Earth Day Donation
