Raising Awareness, Funds
For CT Forests & Parks
Did you know that Connecticut’s first state parks opened 100 years ago? And that today there are 107 state parks and 32 forests? Did you know that 60% of Connecticut is forested, thanks to the good work of the Connecticut Forest and Park Association? These are some of the messages behind Best Cleaners’ Annual Earth Day campaign that ran for three weeks this April and helped raise close to $1200 for the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), the first non-profit conservation organization in the state. Thanks to the Best community of customers, friends, and business partners, we helped spread the word about CFPA programs and services through various media; collected close to $200 in donations; and gave $1000, a percentage of our Earth Day sales, to the cause. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Earth Day and are happy to support the hard work and accomplishments of the Connecticut Forest & Park Association.
